BMW “Spicup” Sells For $615,986

The 1969 BMW “Spicup” is the most weird cars BMW has ever built.  It was been sold last week for $615,986 at the BMW Museum. This car was based on the BMW 2500 sedan and its name, “Spicup”, actually comes from a mixture of Spider and Coupe.

Initially it was sold to a Dutch car dealer and covered 60,000 miles during this period. It was lost until it was rediscovered in 2008, after which it received some treatment and even though it is not the most notorious model BMW ever created, it is certainly important for being sold for over $615,000 last week.
